How to Boost 3G Signal Using Used Satellite Dish in Sri Lanka

This is simple theory we use to increase signal strength in low signal intensity area. It doesn’t drop signal strength when you connected to internet also.

As per my story, I am living 10 km away from Gampaha Airtel tower, Airtel has not covered 3G Ganemulla area. They have tower with edge technology. Even if i use powerful dongle like Huawei   E220, there was no such sign to get of signal.   

I used above method to get 3G Airtel Signals and I was able to get Powerful signal. as per the below map you can find It is covered Gampaha not Ganemulla.

Following Equipments You need

Satellite Dish

Old or broken LNBF (KU)

Five Meter USB Extension Cable


You can remove Inside circuit and just use plastic cover for experiment, cut a hole on the top plastic cover and fix wire and dongle as below pictures

Finally It will be like below

Then you can fix dish to a Galvanized Iron and stand as below

and little according to your place

Then plug to your note book and check the signal level

Since I didn't have signal for 3G in Airtel, with this i managed to get this amount of Signal Strength, but I tried with much larger dish which i have, 

 

It gave much better result for me,

and My downloads speed also were like below

It is simple and amazing solution for all of us which we are not having stable 3G signal in our area. so you can tryout yourself if you want.

I know some peoples having issue with dialog 3G signals also, they can use dialog sim instead of  airtel, this is suitable for any 3G net work even 2G Mobile signals also.

any one can try out this for WiFi signals also if you are getting free WiFi in your area.  I also have received free WiFi in greater colombo area and out of colombo also.
